The trend towards digitalization

The number of studies and white papers covering the emerging technology of mobile payment has multiplied heavily in the last few months. However, those who only look to the changes this technology will bring, according to the results of the 2b AHEAD ThinkTank study "The Future of Sales," have failed to recognize the real strategic transformation occurring in sales.

This trend study is a special evaluation of 21 previous 2b AHEAD studies conducted for various clients in different industries in the past 24 months. Each of these studies is a qualitative study employing the Delphi method that analyzes the investment decisions, business expectations, and trend-related statements of experts in various areas. In total, 214 expert participants - mostly Chief Innovation Officers from market-leading companies - provided guided interviews for the study.

Using this basis, the study describes the ten most important trend areas for the future of sales, from the digitalization of shop locations to the loss of trust in salespeople to the transformation of fundamental values among customers to theadaptivity of products. Not stopping here, the study also gives ten key strategic recommendations such as: Occupy the Mobile Displays of Your Customers...Immediately! Redefine Your Fundamental Sales Values! Become an Identity Manager! Be sure not to miss the complete study if you, too, desire to master the future of sales!
